Testimonials

The beginning, the middle, and the end of our six weeks at Nugget RV
Park were sensational! The owners, Jim and Shirley, along with hosts,
Bill and Kathy, and Brian and Carol, share in one simple philosophy;
give your customers more than they expect and, in the process, make them
feel like family. Without great fanfare, these fine people labor
endlessly to provide facilities, services and amenities that one day
will become the gold standard in the Montana Recreation Industry. While
Mother Nature has provided an unparalleled stage, Jim and Shirley are
providing a harmonious set through landscaping and other projects
designed to further enhance the rustic look and feel of the park.
Come! Enjoy (as we have) one of the best kept secrets in Montana.
In closing, it is worth mentioning that we believe the
"word-of-mouth" from other RV'ers. It takes the guesswork out of our
journey to satisfaction and enjoyment. So, we're taking our own
advice. Hope to see you at Nugget RV Park in 09. We'll be there. Pass
the word!

On
May 12th 2006 we had a family weekend getaway planned for another
campground. Other circumstances found us at the Nugget Campground, and
we were so glad things ended up as they did. My husband, mother,
daughter and myself found ourselves at a gorgeous campground that
offered swimming, a play area for our daughter, nature walks,
horseshoes, and a "old town" display that we stayed at and relaxed and
played for over an hour. The pool area includes showers that were by
far the cleanest and most inviting I have ever encountered at a
campground. For the "big kids" we had a driving range to gear us up to
simply cross the street and tee off at Trestle Creek Golf Course.
Awesome views, large shaded campsites with fire pits, area to play,
huge tent sites, family sites, cabins, the list goes on and on.
For us the highlight of our stay was by far the inviting and friendly
atmosphere that were provided by Jim and Shirley. They were great to
visit with and treated us as if we were their own family. For anyone
looking for a getaway in a tent, camper, or to stay in a quaint cabins
with a camping kitchen, laundry facilities, all the amenities of home,
and more, the Nugget is where you want to be. Cheers was the bar where
everyone knew your name, the Nugget is the Campground that promises to
do the same.

"A Very Special Family Tradition"
Our family has an annual tradition starting 5 years ago. Every Memorial
Day weekend, we plan an annual trip to a very special place. It's a
small, quiet, peaceful little town in western Montana called St. Regis.
This town has a beautiful campground called Nugget RV Park. We always
stay in Cabin 1, overlooking the meadow below, where the White Tail
Deer graze and play. They have a playground, a pool and a hiking trail.
My dad always pays a year in advance for our special cabin, because
we'll definately be back! I think you would say the same if you went
here just once. So, come and enjoy the fun and beauty of Montana and
have a wonderful time with your family.

Arriving at the Nugget Campground
(now that Nugget RV Park) on April 25, 2006 I had no idea of what to
expect. Believe me, I have been pleasantly surprised. The owners, Jim
and Shirley are a very pleasant and industrious couple. They are more
like your family than owners. The park itself has much to offer. There
are nature trails to walk, an old mining town to look thru, a very nice
swimming pool and a kitchen facility that visitors can use for large
gatherings. I arrived on April 25 and I will be leaving on July 18, so
as you can see, this is not an observation made in one or two days.
Again, if you like a rustic setting to camp in, I am sure you will like
the Nugget RV Park.

We were enjoying a trip traveling
as many states as possible in our new Winnebago View motorhome, when we
happened upon the Nugget Rv Park. It's close proximity to the highway,
yet elevated above it, and nestled in the beautiful Montana Mountains,
beckoned us in for an overnight stop. As we approached the office to
check in, we knew this would be a difficult spot to leave as the
scenery was breathtaking!
Greeted by the owners, Jim and Shirley, we were given the option to
select a sight based on our preference, which was difficult as every
sight is desirable. The front sights overlook the impeccably maintained
Trestle Creek golf course which is open to the public. The back sights
offer wildlife viewing, which to our amazement included "groups" of
deer and elk. The entire park is a bird lover's paradise with an
incredible variety of different species. Private individual spotless
showers and modern well maintained restrooms (the cleanest we
encountered in the 37 states we traveled) provided us with all the
comforts of home. Needless to say, our one night stopover turned into a
two week stay that was the highlight of our trip. Although, St Regis,
Montana is a long way from home, we will be planning many more trips to
the Nugget Rv Park.
On a final note, we would caution guests, it's not easy to leave such a
beautiful place and two of the nicest people, Jim and Shirley, one
could ever meet. Bring tissues because you will tear up when it's time
to leave!

Just spent 6 super days at Nugget
RV Park. The cabin was awesome and stayed the same temperature no
matter how
hot or how cold it got outside. Lots of trails to explore, great
swimming and really enjoyed the main kitchen with its 3 stoves
and lots of tables for family get-togethers. It is such a clean park
and is so handy, bathrooms, showers, kitchen, etc.
Hospitality from the owners was great!! Speedy reservations and
reasonable
rates for all 21 of us!!
